Arc Pulse iPhone 17 Pro Max Review

The Arc Pulse for the iPhone 17 Pro Max is one of the most unique “cases” you can buy, mainly because it doesn’t feel like a case at all. Instead of wrapping your phone in bulk, it uses a two-piece aluminum design that clips onto the top and bottom of the device, protecting the most vulnerable areas while leaving the rest of the phone exposed.

Design and Build Quality
The design is where the Arc Pulse really stands out. It’s made from precision-machined aluminum with a soft inner lining, giving it a premium feel while still helping absorb impact. Once installed, it feels extremely secure and adds almost no weight or thickness. The biggest advantage here is that it keeps the original look and feel of the iPhone intact. You still see and feel the raw design of the 17 Pro Max, which is something most cases completely cover up.

Everyday Use
In daily use, the Arc Pulse feels almost like using your phone naked. It slides in and out of pockets easily, doesn’t trap heat, and works perfectly with MagSafe accessories since the back is fully open. The buttons remain fully exposed, which some people will love for responsiveness, but others might miss the added protection or grip of a traditional case.

Protection
Protection is where you need to understand what you’re getting. The Arc Pulse focuses on protecting corners, the camera module, and preventing flat drops from directly hitting the screen. For typical drops from pocket height onto flat surfaces, it does a solid job. However, the back glass and sides are still exposed, so it won’t protect against everything—especially rough surfaces like concrete or gravel.

Arc Plus is the perfect IPhone protection that still allows you to SEE and FEEL your $1,000.00 phone. I was a weeeee bit concerned at first but I've literally received ZERO scratches on any part of my phone in the past month, AND the case is just absolutely stunning. I've always cherished the times right after purchasing a new phone where you just get to hold your thousand dollar baby in it's original intended form and beauty, and the Arc case permanently allows me to have that feeling.
